Visit us in Silicon Valley – Quobyte’s setting up shop in Palo Alto

By  Christina Matern  on

We’re happy to announce that Quobyte is making the move to the US west coast and will set up shop in Palo Alto. As of mid-February, we’ll be working out of an office in the Valley and are very much looking forward to taking root in the tech hub.

We’re using the opportunity of our acceptance into the German Accelerator program to strengthen our foothold overseas. Last October in a crowning finale in Dresden, 18 startups had been selected to join the next batch of companies that are eager to put out feelers in the US with a little help from German Accelerator’s experienced network of mentors. Thanks to them, we’ll kick off with three months of exciting learning, networking and all kinds of interesting and instructional events.

German Accelerator was founded in 2011 with the intent of helping german-based tech startups break into the US market. The program provides its participants with hands-on mentoring. One of the program’s key objectives is to enable companies to expand their business network within the US and internationally. There will be networking and pitching events, workshops, peer sessions and more. That will enable us to more quickly gain the necessary skills and background to successfully expand our operations overseas. The support will ease the transition and help with valuable introductions to prospective business partners.

Also, we believe, we’re in good company: German Accelerator alumni startups are successful and varied; they include mobile shopping provider Shopgate, business analytics firm uberMetrics, and digital advertiser Plista.

Over the past few months, we have already been busy travelers, meeting up with partners and journalists in the Valley (and all over the US). It’s about time we set up a proper office on the west coast to foster our business operations overseas. Not only is the program a perfect opportunity for us, but it will be a great kickstarter and enable us to ensure 24/7 support.

If you’re around Silicon Valley come February 2016, drop by our office for a chat or a live demo of our software-defined storage solution. We’re happy to welcome you then and there! You can get in touch right away, just send us an email:
